Children and Youth Empowerment and Agency

Our Children and Youth Empowerment and Agency collates and consolidates strategies into a framework that will provide avenues and opportunities to reinforce the evolving capacities of children and youth towards claiming their rights and wellbeing. This program will initiate children’s active and meaningful participation to develop their personalities and abilities as agents of social transformation and create spaces and platforms of child participation within the family, community, and institution. It is anchored on the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and highly recognizes UNCRC Article 12, assuring children, who can form their views, the right to express those views freely in all matters affecting them.
