Protective and Positive Treatment Environment for Children against Violence and Exploitation

We aim to address the issues of violence against children and adolescents, which disrupts children’s development and puts their safety and well-being at risk. Children face various forms of abuse, including physical, emotional, and sexual violence, both in their homes and online. These harmful experiences violate their rights and have lasting effects on their mental and physical health. Many communities lack the systems to effectively prevent, identify, and respond to these risks, leaving children vulnerable, particularly during crises.
Our projects for Child Protection

Project SAGIP 2
The Bicol Region, one of the most disaster-prone areas in the Philippines, has one of the highest child labor rates in the country, accounting for 10.3% of the nation’s 3.3 million child laborers. Children are engaged in hazardous work across agriculture, fishing, domestic labor, street vending, and small-scale industries, often facing exploitation, abuse, and unsafe conditions. Despite recent economic growth, child labor remains a pressing issue, prompting Educo to implement a project supporting 450 children across Catanduanes, Albay, and Sorsogon to promote their rights and wellbeing.
Project Sagip II works to guarantee an environment free from any form of
violence, abuse, exploitation, neglect, discrimination, and degrading punishment.
